Access Nodes can be purchased for each gang hideout that has a Communications Dish.
When used from the "Hideout" menu (Check the Access Node):
This access node isn't picking anything up from the Golden Chip's new system… it might need an update.
History
Before July 7, 2016:
It allows gang members to search for websites in their gang network by either using it within a gang hideout or following the link at the bottom of their "The Net" page. It is a prerequisite for Echo Chamber.
Without a computer equipped:
You tap into your gang's access node, checking on the signal.
Your gang's pirated signal leads you to [site]. You save it for later.
With three access nodes:
You tap into your gang's access nodes, checking on the signal.
Your gang's pirated signal leads you to [site], [site], and [site].
This counts as a search on the net. When used:
You tap into your gang's access nodes, checking on the signal.
The link leads to an abandoned, dead site. Hmmmm.
