Description	You doubt you'll get much out of these notes. The paper is aged to the point you probably shouldn't be touching it, the ink has faded, and the characters look… Chinese, maybe? It came in an unlabeled plastic sleeve, which seems to keep it from disintegrating for now.

Use	First time: Well, all you can really say at this point is that the language isn't one you're familiar with. Your exposure to Japanese and Chinese are both pretty limited, but it looks a little like both. Your handling of the document causes it to crumble to dust. Second time: You go over the document again. It seems to be another copy of the first one you looked. That would explain why the handwriting is so neat. Your handling of the document causes it to crumble to dust. After using a mysterious language database: Consulting the language database you downloaded, you're able to piece together a few phrases. The document relates a tale of several villages being wiped out by a plague. The part you're not sure you're translating correctly is about the government's response. If the translation is right, the government had a group of soldiers put out their eyes and breathe through swathes of cloth. The soldiers burned the villages, the surrounding forest, and their lotus fields. It doesn't make a ton of sense, but you feel really good having pieced it together. Your handling of the document causes it to crumble to dust.
