Autoturret Memory
Item
Image | |
Description | Autoturrets usually aren't up to anything too interesting, but they do have some basic recording, automation, and fire control programs. This fragment of data could be any of those, but it's hard to say without piecing it back together. |
Type | Data |
Use | Turrets don't really do much, sitting in one spot until they identify a target and fire. You pull out the most interesting bit you can find, though. You extract some computer code from the remaining memory. It might be useful. OR You pick out the few interesting parts of data to examine more closely. OR You learn a thing or two watching the grainy memories of combat. |
Multi | After pouring through the memories of several automated turrets, you're glad you don't have to do their job. Endless hours of staring off into space, waiting to identify a target and fire on them. You extract some computer code from the remaining memory. It might be useful. OR You pick out the few interesting parts of data to examine more closely. OR You learn a thing or two watching the grainy memories of combat. OR All these clips of drones fighting have started to blur together. |
Effects | Gain filtering script, networking functions, or targeting algorithm (extract code message) Learn Short Burst or Indirect Fire (memories of combat message) Gain 1 XP in Perception or Reflexes (interesting parts message) |
