The bat thing falls to the ground convulsing. Shapes begin to move around under its skin and gore-soaked bats tear themselves free, first one at a time, then dozens.
When they've left, the ragged remains of a human man lie still. It's hard to say, but you think he might have been in his late teens.
With Myers' Sampling Kit equipped, additionally:
A quick check with the sampler confirms the remains are those of a malnourished human male, although you're able to extract several bats that suffocated when they were unable to tear their way out through his skin.
