Description	Although it feels a little chilly, it's hard to believe this knife is actually made out of ice. It looks like ice, feels a bit like ice, but feels heavier than you'd expect and isn't melting right away in your hand. It's also clearer than normal ice, making the blade almost invisible. If it is ice, it's some strange form of the stuff you're not familiar with. Most likely, though, it's just a prop or collectible… probably from Matsuo the Demonslayer. Zaibatsu's put out a whole line of crazy weapons for that show, so it wouldn't surprise anyone if there were some ice dagger in there somewhere.

Uses

1. After using Kidney Punch and winning the fight, you can learn Snow Blade.
2. Using Snow Blade gives you duration of Thawing Blade.
3. Gaining etheric with Thawing Blade active can teach you Prison of Ice.
4. (Details somewhat unclear, but best guess is:) Using Prison of Ice with Thawing Blade active, while etheric and outdoors, unlocks the Full Whiteout encounter.
   • If Channeling Matsuo is active (Thawing Blade not required), instead get:

A storm blows up, seemingly out of nowhere, covering the world in undifferentiated whiteness. It's hard to see the hand in front of your face, but you feel like there's a shape out there… hiding in the howling wind.

There, you see it! You see the shape moving through the endless white and hear the approach like ice creaking under its own weight.

If you lose (with Blood in the Snow?), gain frozen rose
If you win with Thawing Blade, learn Blade of Frost

• If you lose to the Snow Maiden with the frozen rose equipped, she will take it back. This may be related to the unlock for the Snow Maiden technique.
