Blocky Tablet Shard

Description	Broken from some sort of dense, black stone, this shard has blocky, organic patterns that almost have to be some form of writing. Assuming it is, the letters look like they would be more at home displayed on screen or stamped in mud then they are carved into stone. It's always possible it's easier than it looks, but it's hard to imagine cutting patterns like that so precisely without modern tools. Maybe you're just overthinking it. It can be so easy to assume the modern way is the only way. The ancients could raise buildings without polysteel supports, after all.
