Encounter Conditions

After meeting the Walking Corpse on the Massive oil Slick, cut the thread and ask him, "Got any treasure?". This will unlock one instance of Buried Treasure.

You find a few rocks that look familiar from that strange corpse's map. Recalling what it had drawn in the sludge, you dig up an ancient chest buried beneath a thin layer of sand.

It's fairly light, but the lock has long fused shut. You grab the chest to deal with later.
