Can play chess in the park, against the slimy man in the VIP room, and at the open workstation in the open computer lab. The homeless man is the easiest, followed by the slimy man. The workstation chess matches range from easy to the hardest possible matches at this point. Each time you play there is a chance (counter?) that your skill level increases, starting from beginner, going up to Master, that you can see by looking at the skill.
The minimum difficulty level is the lowest level chess match that still gives XP.
