my first message, after giving NitroX:

He flashes a grin, which combines rather oddly with his mohawk and piercings.

Some progress?

He nods with grim determination. "Pretty soon we'll take the fight to them."

It's hard to say if even he really knows who "they" are.

or?

"We're building up quite the nice arsenal here."

He draws in a deep breath, then releases it. "Well, time to get serious."

(NOTE: It seems these messages can show up in either order)

Even more progress?

(Adds hefty capsules to the list of things he gives in exchange for explosives?)

With Engineer Explosives or Legion's Eyes:

He nods with grim determination. "Thanks. It's just you and us versus the world."

Choice Text and Results

Ask him why

He shakes his head. "We're fucked. Like fish in a fucking barrel."

"Nobody comes here without Midgard's permission. Nobody leaves without Midgard's permission. You don't go to school or get a job without Midgard's permission. They kill us, they let people kill us, without doing anything. Fuck only knows what they're doing every Halloween, but it sure as hell isn't market testing."

"Way I figure, they owe us a couple fires to make up for it. And if they disagree," he shrugs, "they can't kill us any more dead."

Slip him dynamite

You carefully slip him the stick of dynamite. He inspects it, mutters something about "no crystals," and shoves it one of his many zippered pockets.

<second paragraph>

"Oh, and take this. It's not much, but… well, it's what we've got. Thanks."

Fight a Punk Student

Or, after giving 20 items worth of explosives:

He snarls "fucking traitor" and pulls out some explosives… probably some of the same explosives you gave them.

Fight a Punk Bomber

Make your excuses

"Naw," he shakes his head, "don't worry about it."

Historical

During Halloween 2013, there were additional options:

Talk Halloween

He nods. "You have to admit, last year was the stuff of college tales for generations. Partying so hard you collapse the fucking dorm? Mythic."

"Anyway, Midgard's got the place on lockdown so tight you can leave coal there overnight and get diamonds. Which is a fucking shame, because construction sites make for great parties."

"I've heard some people have been getting in, but I'm not sure how." He frowns.

Lead to the Dorms (Only after choosing Talk Halloween)

With a worker or midgard security disguise:

You offer to lead him in. He peers at you for a second. "What the hell, I've got time. If you can get me in, great."

You lend the student your extra <Midgard MK9/electrical kit>, <security visor/battered hammer>, and <Midgard riot shield/Midgard hardhat>. The matching disguises are convincing enough to get both of you past the guards with minimal argument.

The student plays his well enough and returns your outfit once you're inside. You make your way back to the Quad alone.
