Choice Text and Results
Meditate
You sit next to the creature's massive body, trying to learn something from its life or its death.
You learned a new Technique: Breath of Dust
Grab some treasure
You head into the cave. Old coins aren't exactly worth a ton, but you grab one as a souvenir.
You found: dusty coin
Pluck flower
You reach out, but your hand passes through the flower as though it's just dust and air.
You've earned 2 XP in Will
Or with ≥6 Etheric Power:
You reach out as the flower grows brighter. The dust and mists swirl around it, gathering together into an almost physical object as you pluck it.
You found: flower of the dragon
Gather some blood
Normally, including with gloves:
You reach down to gather some of the blood, getting a fleck on your hand. It spreads in the course of moments, burning until there is nothing but blinding pain. You return to consciousness later, strangely uninjured but with the memories of pain still clinging to you.
The world seems clearer, bereft of the cloud of dust lingering at its edges.
Or, with gloves and a Myers sampling kit equipped:
You gather a flask of the pooling blood, thankful that none of the droplets burn through your top's weighty gloves. The fluid sputters and hisses in the flask.
You found: dragon blood
Leave it be
You head back into town, avoiding the jagged rocks on your trek.
You've earned 2 XP in Reflexes
Notes
This encounter does not consume energy.
History
The message used to be the following, (only containment suit top worked?), before gloves were checked:
You gather a flask of the pooling blood, thankful that none of the droplets burn through your suit. The fluid sputters and hisses in the flask.
You found: dragon blood
