- Allows walking away from 4 out of every 5 choice encounters for free in Lake Metroplex (North) and Lake Metroplex (South).
- Removes the second Ruins Octopus and Writhing Mass combats from the southern lake.
- Enhances/modifies the following techniques:
- Avoid the Powerful Tail Strike of the Foreign Shark
- Affects underwater running away chances. Insufficient diving ability results in:

Note: Deep Hunter has diving ability for sure. The serpents can avoid scatter jacks by swimming, which is probably the same flag, but unconfirmed. The ruins octopus, palace guard, ocean king and foreign shark also probably have it but unconfirmed.
