Morality

Effects

Some game actions are tagged as good or evil, and some actions trigger on this. Many come from choosing specific choices in choice encounters; for example, choosing to attack a human is generally considered evil.

On Podcast #52, Kinak explains the mechanics in detail - good or evil actions have a magnitude associated with them, which can theoretically be unlimited but in practice tends to range from -20 (very evil) to +20 (very good). For simplicity, we use a scale of 1, 2, 3, 4 on the wiki (corresponding to 5, 10, 15, 20 points). The most obvious item that triggers on morality choices is the unearthly coin.

There are also some minor-level acts that also trigger (at some level less than 5 points), so the unearthly coin doesn't even trigger but some other sources do, see below. (eg. buying explosives from the Eurasian Arms Dealer)

Triggers
