"Sorry," the woman shakes her head and turns, "too much food to deliver. You won't believe how much these kids eat."

As you consider pointing out that she looks maybe five years older than them, the man adds "and the guards too. I feel like they ate half the stuff last time, with all the whining about weird apples we heard the next day."

The woman continues walking, but her coworker stops to take a bit of a break. "I'm surprised they agreed to this shit-show again. I mean, they didn't burn down the building like they did with their dorm, but they did manage to flood a bunch of apartments downstairs."

"Seriously, they'll need a swarm of locusts next year to keep up with it." He glances down at the food he's carrying. "Well, at least we'll hopefully be ready."
