I got the response "one of these things happened, sort of, and I'm thinking of another." I can't find any of them, though. It's taken me a while to get to this, so it's possible the "thinking of" one has been implemented since I last checked.

Here's what I suggested:

  • About a year ago Arkaim & I independently thought to get Missing Hand, then harvest a replacement from the Tree of Hands with Myers sampling kit. Which would be preeeetty sweet. TEST: Tried this today with and without a weapon equipped, no item drop. Could be a <100% drop?
  • The crystal hand description mentions new age sculptures, which sounds like a clue to do something with the tree of hands. TEST: Tried this a while ago, with crystal hand, no result for defeating tree or losing to it or getting sober version
  • Dive for Cover + silvered shield + Mercy Killer should probably block etheric. TEST: still didn't, when I tried it ages ago.
