Yep, it should work, they use it on the wikidot echo bazaar wiki. Seems like two or three of us discovered this at the same time. :P

It's used that way on Welcome and points to local—files correctly. So it works. I think.

Using just

[[image /images/yourimage.jpg]]

instead of

[[image http://wiki.metroplexity.com/local--files/images/yourimage.jpg]]

looks like a handy shortcut. But does doing it that way still use the local wiki image, or does it hotlink to the game? Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I'm not a Very Technical Boy.

Nope. It's hosted with wikidot. The wiki.metroplexity.com address is an alias. You can also use metroplexity.wikidot.com.

The blog actually shares the games server space, though.
