This item seems to be one of a series, all of which are offhand, give equal ammounts of +etheric power and -strength, and all seem to require destroying angel. Since mushrooms seem to be more of a fae sight thing i think that would be more helpful for shaking out content, or perhaps there are interactions with taking toxic eclipse while wearing these. I intend to test this later but I might forget. I also don't have fae sight so if someone who does finds anything that would be cool.

This item seems strictly worse than the staring octopus eye (same equipment slot, same requirement, same bonus, not significantly easier to make, but gives -7 Strength), so I figured using it must grant a special technique or have some other benefit. So far, using it underwater with Ocean Sight and Burning Vision going has done nothing special vs. ruins octopus, foreign shark, or deep hunter even when I use eye-related techniques like Evil Eye and Withering Gaze.
