I just reread Lovecraft's "The Hound" (which I had completely forgotten) and was delighted to find a piece of Metroplexity content! I wonder if the creature's doglike baying inspired the ability to bind it, and if this is the chunk of Lovecraft content Kinak mentioned in podcast 14? We could also try returning the amulet to the grave in fear after seeing the winged hunter… but my suspicion is we've found all the content (apart from maybe different forms of the hunter technique).

If you want to discover other Lovecraft/Metroplexity connections, Kinak has also mentioned the hounds of Tindalos (no surprise there), and the Nightgaunt (which is either new to me or forgotten — man I have a terrible memory). Hm… a Suggested Reading page is a cute idea.

I wore this while doing The Black Sketchbook to see if anything interesting would happen. What happened was that I forgot I had it equipped after a while and used an OmniTech trauma bandage to heal up after losing all my HP to some choice or other — which is of course exactly when a Winged Hunter decided to jump me. He made short of me and my 10 HP, needless to say. I was not Etheric. So it looks like he can come to you pretty much anywhere if you have the amulet equipped.
