I watched all the different sober fireworks making sure I saw each one at least once, then used only one each of all of the different fireworks (including a roman candle) except for the twisted fireworks. I used a lot of those (~30, trying to nail down a bug) and then fought a bunch of Fireworks Serpents to replenish my stock. I got the finale my first adventure after all my Ocean Sight finally wore off.

I had 26 sober firework encounters, fought the intertwined serpents once, and launched fireworks in response to the sober encounters. I couldn't really pick out a pattern but I'll take another shot next Metroplex Day.

I did not fight either of the fireworks serpents. (Regular encounter or in response to a single twisted firework) I did receive the following though.

You find a street vendor picking up his blanket and wares. "Hey, saw you enjoying the fireworks on Metroplex Day. Good show, eh?"

"Here, I've got some extra merchandise from then. Can't move it any other day, so you can have it."

He slips you a handful of merchandise and heads on his way.
