UNR4138 gave me Omnilunch filtering, and now I only seem to be getting UNR drones. (3 datapoints so far)
OL also seems to be an OmniLunch code. I think there was also OTL, or something like that.
Neither Focused Perception nor Studious Nature appear to overtly help with identifying drone identifications.
You queue up a batch for Drone Registry containing Wideband Command, Direct Command, Inquisitive Coding, Wideband Search, Manual Search, another Manual Search, and a third Manual Search.
You manage to conceal part of your Wideband Command among the system's background noise.
You perform a careful dance, ordering another subroutine to get you the data and downloading it at a leisurely pace. You wouldn't say the system is unaware, but it seems you avoided the main alarm on the registration data.
These identification schemes are kind of a mess, but you're working them out… slowly but surely.
The external camera is streaming signals to the rest of the system.
The alarms from your action echo through the system, increasing the Alert by 27.
Your connection flickers for a moment, then goes dead. Well, looks like it finally managed to block you.
That's 3 COMMAND and 7 VIEW and I was not able to view the entire thing in one pulse. Was I imagining things when I thought I read something like that? If not perhaps whoever it is who did that could elaborate on how they accomplished that feat?
Also 13 code finesse.
You queue up a batch for Drone Registry containing Direct Command, Offboard Scan, Manual Search, Secured Search, Disk Browser, and another Manual Search.
The filter blocked Direct Command.
You download the registration data in one huge pulse. The system isn't able to stop the transfer before the proverbial cat is out of the bag, but does light up with reports of the intrusion.

The external camera seems to be searching for something.
The alarms from your action echo through the system, increasing the Alert by 23. Without the way you slipped through the system, that could easily have been 2 alert worse.
The system starts up its Electronic Countermeasures routine.
I have never had trouble identifying drone codes. I have perception in the 60s if that matters. No obviously special effects.
Is there anything particular about the name of the drones that are giving the above messages?
Also an oddity - REG seem to be either NickoTime or Alliance, distinguished by the hyphen. (Or it's just a random coincidence - 6 data points to support this so far)
NickoTime:
REG-434
Alliance:
REG3474
I have not had trouble with the drone codes. I even got this result:
You download the registration data in one huge pulse. The system isn't able to stop the transfer before the proverbial cat is out of the bag, but does light up with reports of the intrusion.
The identification scheme for these drones seems pretty straight forward. It isn't until later that you realize how much you should have been baffled.
I don't think I had an OJ charge going. My Perception (base and buffed) is 80-ish, though, which I suspect has a lot to do with it.
Just saw this — was about to suggest maybe OJ charge but Mag suggests maybe not. Posting here to remind someone (me?) to try with OJ to confirm or investigate further.
