I know several of you played Fallen London back in the day. Its creators released an exploration game with a similar feel: same eery setting, excellent writing, choices and mysteries. This time, no tweeting or ten minute action refreshes or micropayments. Sunless Sea is released today, but I've played it for a few days in Early Access and have been enthralled.

Ah thanks for reminding me Vholes — I played the beta rather early on and have been meaning to play it again now that it's fleshed out.

I've even got my father playing it. He spends half his time asking me what the combat controls are and the other half eating his crew.
