It would make a lot more sense for the "serpentine bulk" message to correlate with the Lo/summer zone in the Fractured Reflection than with Shadowy Presence, but I don't think having unlocked AROTPBY is necessary. I reported getting that message back in March, in my current incarnation. But unless the +7 Perception bonus from the mirror-handled pistol is given invisibly, it doesn't look like I have AROTPBY unlocked yet. I don't specifically remember using the mirror, but I've been in this incarnation since January and I probably played with it at least a little. Or, heck, maybe even having the mirror and having picked the right survivor is enough, even if you haven't installed the mirror at all.
If this theory pans out then none of the Whispers in the Park skills have static TV messages, which is surprising but would at least be consistent.
EDIT: Nope, there's one for Boundless Patience. Maybe you need the tome of binding equipped to get the (now hypothetical) shadowy presence one? Will check.
EDIT AGAIN: No Shadowy Presence result even with tome of binding equipped, assuming serpentine bulk message is from the mirror. Also, The Eye keeps teaching me more instances of Light of the Eye even with all (currently 31) instances I know in my deck. I have both Third Eye Technique and Third Eye Inward. Having Bone Eye active as well doesn't avoid its displeasure. Guess I'll keep trying to see if at some point it's satisfied and maybe gives a new message.
EDIT MORE: The Eye still disapproves of me with 51 instances of Light of the Eye in my deck, and Bone Eye active. So either having both Third Eye Technique and Third Eye Inward makes The Eye a lot more demanding, or the trigger currently listed on the page (know at least 11 instances) is wrong, even if you only know just Third Eye Technique.
