Let's choose one and use it for all pages. I think Mass of Rats is the more accurate name, and a more fleshed-out page.

(On a side note, are you sure it drops the IV thing? I've never got one of those - is it triggered by something like the ghoul teeth are, or is it just rare?)

There is a difference between the two - put your cursor on the pictures when your fighting them and they'll have different names. They just have the same picture.
The IV Bag drops from the one that you find in the Midgard Laboratory while Etheric.
Rat Kings show in the Sewers, and don't drop the IV Bag.
I don't think I had to do anything special for the IV Bag to drop.
