This one would be pretty neat:
Petrol Splash
Nitro
NitroX
Pyromancy

Assuming you draw a hand with all 4 of these in it, your opponent can only hurt you on the first attack, and the rare 5th attack.
—-
A (6)-5-4-3 deck that ended in Live Wire would also be pretty decent, and adaptable to either offensive or defensive tactics.

That fire base could be a lot of fun, since like you said, it'd shut down you opponent just about every time. Add in Pyromaniac skill and a Beating Sludge heart, your damage would be pretty nice, too. Only problem is NitroX can be a bugger to get at times.

Red hot pipe is another +2 fire power… I'd like to try this sometime, but only when I'm certain not to lose all the techniques by resetting anytime soon.
