This is an interesting investigation challenge of sorts - confirm if M, E or S attacks are blocked by Cyberbowl Rush at long distance (vs. chain 8-9).
- Melee: There's almost certainly no Melee attacks at chain 8, but Cyberbowl Rush does work non-directionally, so that would be theoretically possible to test by targeting an opponent using a high-chain attack and then another opponent in the same fight with melee. The Memorial Statue+Drone Statue fight looks close, but only uses chain ≤7. Midgard SD1 does use a chain 8+ attack but only appears with an opponent using melee in the Security Office gang warfare encounter with Officer Stone. I think that's the only case?
- Stealth: The SDnano technique is the only known chain ≥8 Stealth tech. Officer Stone could help with that same as melee.
- Etheric: The Painted Sky using Starry Gaze/Pull to Darkness is chain ≥8. Ocean King/Robed Corpse/Sofia/etc. could test vs Withering Gaze. DONE
Am I missing anything easier?
Confirming non-directionally with helidrones on the 5th floor:
You rush towards the helidrone, moving erratically to present a harder target.
The helidrone arcs a stream of bullets high above you and into you for 10 ranged damage, but you dive at the right moment to avoid all but 3 damage.
The helidrone arcs a stream of bullets high above you and into you for 7 ranged damage, but you dive at the right moment to avoid all but 1 damage.
EDIT: also - to test: following wildcat/rams play at long distance? The low 3-base defense makes me suspicious there might be more forms there.
