Path of War and others

Looking at what is known, there is a strong possibility that Path of War is the third open sea skill from this quest. It is not confirmed, however. [as of the time of this posting, Path of War has been found only with skill guessing]

It is important to note, however, that there are also a total [including both ends] of 11 skills between Servant of the Mask and Monarch's Call, in the IDs. This could mean nothing, or it could be important. Who knows.

Also, what's the deal with killing the mask+hands before you deal with the gourd? I remember it saying something about an explosion, and I got no drops, but still got some nice XP.

The mask regenerates if the gourd is not dealt with, and gets two new hands.

OK, this is way out there and would be insanely hard to test, but there are some gaps in the Skills by ID in this general vicinity. Getting all of the skills from this quest involves following a map, right? Well, what if having the Lotus Map effect active when you set sail lets you go to a different destination than the ones on the Lost Map? Like I said, way out in left field. But too wacky to be at least vaguely plausible in this game?

Wow, what a day for discoveries.

It's certainly possible - now that we know other old quests were updated with new skills, we should certainly be looking for more.
