Chemicals mix on the drone, bubbling into a cloud of choking smoke for 46 stealth damage.

You've gained 10 duration of Lobby Alarm.

Steam rises from the drone's body as something internal ruptures.

You found: pineapple powder

You found: 2 piles of paper mache

You found: frayed cable

You found: optical sensor

You found: hound drone memory

You've earned 1 XP in Perception

You've earned 1 XP in Strength

I tried defeating it using Melee attacks that only did 1-2 damage, and I still got the "Steam rises from the drone's body as something internal ruptures." message.

Steam still rises using Freezing Slurry:

The slurry splashes over the drone, mottling it with brittle ice for 12 stealth damage.
The drone tazes you for 3 stealth damage.

You do nothing.

You brutally beat the drone for 13 melee damage.

You punch the drone, throwing the whole weight of your body behind it and dealing 9 melee damage.

You've won the battle!

You've gained 10 duration of Lobby Alarm.

You found: 2 servings of coffee crystals

You've earned 1 XP in Reflexes

You've earned 1 XP in Strength

I suspect there is something we could find here if we used more cooling techniques.

Or, if Etheric, from Flesh Mannequin:

Steaming blood spills from the creature's body as its organs rupture.

Try with Frost Breath?
Try with Bracing Cold?

I feel like we missed a hot/cold puzzle element this halloween.

Hm, the Dispense Steaming Water chain seems relatively rare. Maybe something for opposing that specifically with a frosty technique?

(Oh, very very very long shot: if the drone has dispensed tea to you today it's out of hot water?)
