Since the forum population is still pretty low, I think one thread for this kind of thing is quite managable (although by all means create your own if you want to discuss a spading topic away from the horrors of British spelling). I'll just use this thread to post things that need close examining, with the hopes that it will prevent mysteries from being forgotten.
- First one being the issue I just described rather incoherently at the bottom of the On the Prowl page. I'll reiterate here some other time, but if any of you Prowlers are around (I wonder how many people actually decided to spend 100 old coins on it?), I'd like you to take note of how many turns of the effect you get, particularly if you have the effect left over from yesterday (my current faint suspicion as to how the mechanic works).
So far with the On the Prowl business:
-Day 1: used it, got 25 energy
-Day 2: went a day without using it
-Day 3: with 14 energy still left over from day 1, used it and got 26 energy.

-Day 4: used it, got 21 energy.
Equipment: As on Day 3, but with writhing golem heart instead of ballistics shield
Effects before use: nopain rumaddled kinglystrength oceansight
Gang control: Complete control in all areas.
24 energy, no effects. Then 30 energy, w/ various. I'm guessing it's just a random 21-31 energy. Gang control was complete in the Quad and partial in the Sewers first, then complete everywhere except building in the Park. Also, it's so hard to devote time spading when so much cool new stuff keeps appearing. ;)
31 energy. complete control in quad, normal control everywhere else. not that I even know that has any effect at all.
