Having reset a few times now (more, once I get my custom weapon smuggled in), I have learned to really love the fighting system. First time I used melee and ranged and then melee again, nothing fancy. 2nd time through, I wanted to make the petrol splash-fire deck, so I had a fire-ranged deck. Then came the 15 card minimum before I made the petrol-fire deck, so I reset again and due to the techniques I learned I ended up going with a ranged-stealth deck. The choices you get the make and the versatility of the fighting system are f-ing awesome!
Glad you like it. I think it's one of the game's strongest points. And we're still barely scratching the surface :)
Also, the hidden extra bonus(es???) effect on the donation item, nice touch. :)
Yeah, it does all sorts of neat stuff. Zack's not crazy for collecting them :)
Well there's even an unfound quest branch and whole quest that nobody found so far, so congrats on that too:)
Actually there are a lot of quest branches, or at least skills, that nobody's found. Almost ten, if I remember correctly. And I'm pretty sure that Vholes is going to either kill me or think I'm the coolest person ever when he figures out the other half of Mercy Killer.
I'm not sure what this says about me as a designer, but I kind of like having a pile of things around that nobody's figured out. It makes the world feel way more real to me having more mysteries.
