I found an item while watching tv on my descrambled TV. It's a book for the blind legion. I can't think of what it's for. It's a quest item, so secret sidequest maybe? I've spent adventures in the park and in the quad with it equipped without anything exciting happening.

With the item equipped I gained extra HP resting when that same infomercial came on. Also, adventuring in Southside Park with it equipped, I didn't get any special adventures, but I did notice I never got the adventure where the Blind Legion member gives you the tracts.

I had the same experience. Not getting any legion tracts with it equipped.
Didn't know about the infomercial.

This would be extremely handy even if all it did was prevent those damn legion tracts from being handed out. Y'all might could also try reading it to that poet, but I don't really see that working.

Hey… I think I'll start carrying around a Bible and a copy of the Communist Manifesto while walking around Berkeley and see how much time that saves me in real life. ;)

Ugh. I just wasted 25 energy on the Descrambled TV (and a lot more cumulatively before), and got nothing. I checked my inventory first; I don't have it.

Do I just have terrible luck? I can't get Quantum Mechanics to work either.

I know its like kicking a fallen men, but when i heard from kinak that it would enable a new sidequest in the near future, all i needed to get it, was around 5 turns of watching tv so its probably just bad luck

More like good luck for you and man mobile, raziel. I haven't made any concerted efforts, but considering I'm the one who added the descrambled tv to the wiki as well as most of its effects, you'd think I'd have it by now. ;) Although I have a feeling it was sneakily added to the game after I had already done most of my tv-watching.

Hm, I'm really just burning turns between puzzle-prying right now, maybe I'll go for this.

Edit: Okay, that's just not fair. I *want* to burn all my energy and I get it on the first go. Heh heh.

I just wasted 79 Energy today resting trying to get this. I double-checked my inventory and confirmed that I still do not have it.
