Average energy-crafting/hunger row?

I'm not too good at making layouts look good, or I would have done something here already.

How about a row that says how much energy you get on average per hunger from which the energy expended to craft the item is included in the calculation (subtracted from the total energy you gain on average before dividing by hunger). Basically, and probably more understandably: (Average energy gained - Energy cost to make)/Hunger. Seems like a very (if not the most) useful row to me. See below link for example.

That's the rows I'd like to see (plus an effects row of course). Don't see a lot of point in having "Max …" rows. Would love to have it sortable by row category like many of the tables in the KoL wiki are. Like: http://kol.coldfront.net/thekolwiki/index.php/Best_Foods_(adventures)
No idea if that's doable in this wiki.

I wish I knew how to implement the 'select by row' thing - maybe when I have time in a few days I'll try to find out.

Until then, I'm going to delete the 'max energy per hunger' column (since it only matters if Kinak implements an 'ungodly luck' effect :P), and attempt to add 'energy spent crafting' and 'hunger per energy ratio after crafting' columns. It will only get harder to alter as it grows, after all.

Great changes thats exactly what I intended. I added the max gain column for those rare cases where a few foods have the same average but some of them have bigger maximum than others. So it's not that needed.

All right, that will give us sortable tables, but it would take forever on one this size: you have to enter each cell's data, e.g. what you want to go in 0,0, then 0,1, then 0,2, etc., with all the accompanying html.

I'll do this for a smaller bonuses table first. I suggest that someone put all this table in excel (maybe you have it already Raziel or Wyrd?), and then follow the link above and find the automatic Excel->wikidot sortable table generator.

Edit: actually could anyone suggest a smaller table that actually NEEDS sortable columns? :P

With Vholes help I manged to update all food items, adding sources uses etc and created a standard clean format for items.

SO

Remember when adding new foods or changing energy gains, conform to the existing format and update hunger to energy ratio table as needed.
