The mysterious puzzle box looked cool enough to spark a donation from me at least! :)
I think I'll go run around like a chicken with its head cut off adding stuff to the wiki. Oh man, Norse runes? Usable at 0 energy?
<3,
Vholes
(Can't wait until I get energy tomorrow so I can see what else this nifty gadget can do!)
In the beginning, men were mortal.
Oh, man, now I don't have any coins anymore to play with, damn you and your awesome Futharc covered box o' secrets!
You better not make every donation item this intriguing if you want to stop me from giving you that dirty, dirty money. ;)

Hehe I'dont think he would want us to stop:P
But yeah, ill have to funnel some money into donations, the box just looks too good to pass up.
I love the way it helps you to shape your xp gains to your deck style. And who knows what else..
I'm glad everyone so far is so excited. :) I was worried it might be a little too content-heavy for the first item, but no reason we can't have a good mix starting from the top, right?
Cheers!
Kinak
Actually i can see nothing wrong with content heavy donation items. the more the better if you ask me:)
Phew, this one's a doozy. Should keep us occupied for a good long while.
Basically, it has a bazillion forms, and each form has a bazillion options when you use it. Some of these options turn the puzzle into another form - there's a box, a tablet, a pyramid, and god knows what else. Some of the options give an effect - see the powerful Runic Puzzle. And many of them SEEM to do nothing, but based on their use messages almost certainly unlock other forms. Now that I think of it, these are divided into two categories identified by their use message - either the unlockERS or the unlockEES, if you see what I mean. So it shouldn't take as long to figure it out - but still a long time.
And that's because of the catch. Every time you use the puzzle, you get Puzzled Out, or else another effect as mentioned above. While under the influence of these effects (for 10 turns), you cannot use the puzzle again. Takes some dedication, this one!
Edit: I do have one request. Giving 10 turns of puzzled out when you're using an unlock mechanism you've already used before seems pretty harsh - perhaps remove/lessen the effect the second time? If the unlock mechanism is more complex than I thought (maybe certain moves lock as well as unlock?), disregard.
In the beginning, men were mortal.
Considering Wyrds las post in the Puzzle, its not going be so easy seeing as he managed to twist it so much that he unlocked piramid with a move that previouslu unlocked the tablet.
Damn cant wait till tommorow (thats when my paycheck comes in) so i can donate and get to play with it:), and with the unearthly coins as well. I hope all the coming unearthly items will be as cool as this one. Kinak..youre an evil, evil man…could i become a pupil of youres per chance ??:)
I was wondering, and might have to just continue wondering unless Kinak's in a telling mood.
If one manages (by sheer luck or ingenuity or stubborn perseverance) to "solve" the puzzle box (unlock all shapes and effects and what not), would you no longer get the puzzled out effect?
I wouldn't be really suprised if fully unlocking the puzzle would lead to some kind of quest or something that would grant enlightment and reduce the time of puzzled out:)
