I will leave someone else to place (and prune and reformat) this where (and how) it should be.
After getting out of Slags:
Hel moves cautiously as you exit the Slags. Once you're all the way out she peels off the containment suit and motions you over.
"Alright let's split up. I'm going to the ruins west of the Slags entrance, until I can form a new plan. Meet me there once you're sure Midgard isn't following you."
(at this point, I am able to beta-reset)
In abandoned ruins, or just Contacting her:
So… looks like I'm the last of us. We'll have to figure out what Midgard is up to, and fast, if we're going to have a chance of getting out of this thing alive.
options:
- Let's talk -> A
- Will do -> end conversation
A) Let's talk:
I suppose we have a moment, yes. What would you like to talk about?
- Your comrades -> B
- The Slags -> C
- Midgard -> E
- Nothing -> end conversation
B) Your comrades
Their secrets are their own, but I suppose it can't hurt to talk a bit. Who would you like to know about?
- How about Lo?
Ah, Lo. Poor, poor Lo. He was a scientist, not a fighter. He hid so well… but not well enough apparently.
He used to be the lead scientist at our facility, Midgard Test Facility 1. Nothing but a crater now, at the center of the Slags.
- Midgard, Eh? -> E
- What about the Slags? -> C
- You metioned others -> B
- Thanks -> end conversation
- Dr. Amundsen
Oh, Sif, poor creature. She was a friend once, but not cut out for war. Head in computers all day.
That's why we had brutes like me to protect the place… Sif… Dr. Amundsen, will be sorely missed.
- What of the others? -> B
- Sorry to bring it up -> end conversation
- David
David, David, David. Such a poor boy… not so invulnerable after all. He…
He was always the brightest among us, even Lo. Of anyone, he got the furthest along taming the energies of the Slags. We'll just have to make it without him somehow.
- Tell me about the Slags -> C
- Tell me about Lo -> same as asking about him in B directly
- You mentioned others -> B
- Thanks -> end conversation
C) The Slags
The Slags… they've been my home for years, but I still don't really understand them. There's something in the air or perhaps a radiation…
- How'd they get this way? -> D
- Are there other survivors? -> B
- Thank you -> end conversation
D) How'd they get this way?
Ah, the Incident, yes. Midgard's great mistake, I suppose you could say. What made the Slags such… prime vacation property.
- What about the Slags? -> C
- Tell me about Midgard -> E
- Are there other survivors -> B
- Thanks -> end conversation
E) Midgard
Midgard? Well… Midgard is an interesting case.
- What about the Incident? -> D
- What about your coworkers? -> B
- Thanks -> end conversation
