Usability

This is also usable. I get one sample of petrol sludge per heart in inventory, daily.
(meaning: I have two hearts = I get two samples per day)

usage text (multiple, all fresh for today):

You squeeze the beating sludge hearts. They spasm and thrash around, as though you're causing them terrible pain.

You found: 2 samples of petrol sludge

usage text (single or multiple, all already used today):

You squeeze your hearts. They thrash and thump widly, but don't produce any more oil.

missing (because I am not making any more this run):
- using X when I still have X unused but some used
- using X when I have less than X unused
- try using all, getting rid of one, obtain a new one … do I get another petrol sample?

OK, this is using two (out of two) when one has already been used today:

One of the hearts seems to have run out already, but you squeeze the others. They all but explode, bleeding a thick petrol sludge.

Arrrgh, I should have read this earlier! Now that I'd lost all 9 of my beating sludge hearts for being greedy, my heart's broken =(. I'd used 4 previously, but then I tried using another 6 at once, I received the same message as above. Sigh.

Creme, can you elaborate? Did you lose your hearts from using them? What I've read on this page seems to suggests that the hearts aren't consumed.

The message was the same due to a typo in the code. Should be different with multiples now. Sorry about that.

Edit: I'm fairly sure wouldn't have lost the hearts on use, but if you did, tell me and I'll investigate that too.

I was multi-using 6, but the message appeared and all my hearts are gone after that. So, I guess there is a chance that the hearts might explode, destroying all the beating hearts you have.

4 + 6 > 9
…so when I multi-use 6 beating hearts, I was squeezing one that had already been squeezed, and the other 5 fresh ones, hence the message. So I ended up with just one petrol sludge for my greediness.

edit: Kinak, I wasn't complaining about the message (though, I'm confused on what we're talking about), so there's no reason to apologise. =)

Ah, my hearts are back, or was it my imagination that I lost them in the first place? Anyway thanks Kinak.

Okay, yeah, that's what was bugged. It should have given you the rest of your allotment. It will probably let you squeeze the remaining four now, as a side note.

Just wanted to make sure the hearts weren't going away. That'd be a sad state.
