I tried crafting with most of the chemistry ingredients with no results. I didn't test with an empty injector or personal serum, which are probably the most likely to give something. Other items I didn't test were the seasonal coins, the spun series of items, plant residue, and toxic oil.

Defeating Artyom with a Myers sampling kit wasn't enough to get the serum.

Interesting. Assuming the new fishing encounter stops showing up if you kill Artyom?

For what it's worth, about a month ago I asked Kinak if we could cook/craft the spherical egg and he said yes that is a reasonable and interesting thing to try and would think about it. Possibly related to this update? I'll be resetting again soon and can test.

As a blood sample, seems like it could be something where Andrea is involved in some way.

Artyom only disappears for the day when you kill him. I've tried killing him with the Myers sampling kit but didn't get this item, just the deep fishing pole and 2-3 toxic worms. Getting the serum from the recipe might have screwed something up, though.

Hm, lore-wise, does that mean that Antyom is immortal like us? I wonder if we can talk to him about it…

EDIT: and no more than 5 minutes after posting this I did indeed find another result.

GoldS I'm assuming you're not getting the "The fisher, looking no worse the wear from your alternation" intro text if you killed him the previous day? That might be a bug?
