Planescape Torment is awesome. I should pick that up again sometime soon - I don't think I finished it cause of a few bugs that wouldn't let me get the next quest. Great game though.
Yeah, definitely buggy. A friend of mine ended up having to mess with one of the text files so he could finish. Bad scene.
It's funny, looking back, how much crap we used to go through to play PC games. Making different bootable floppies, dialing in to BBSs, trying desperately to not mistype /cast so you don't fall asleep in the middle of a battle… maybe that last one was just me.
I got stuck at a part where Morte was on a shelf and you had to give the dude who was keeping him some skull which I didn't have.
That totally gave me fits too. I don't remember what I ended up having to do, but it was a vicious backtrack. I wanna say something about the lich in the sewers, but it's been years.
