Chemical Mixture burning damage seems suspiciously like jagged wounds bleeding damage — needs checking if it will burn over multiple rounds at high enough damage?

"The mixture clinging to you burns out before it can do any serious harm." sounds too much like "You staunch your bleeding before it can do any more damage."

Further post to add wild wild speculation:

I have not played much Magic: the Gathering at all but I recently heard someone talking about the Boon Cycle of cards — all of which cost one mana to gain 3 life/cards/mana/damage/power.

In the Metroplexity version of that cycle, we have Bleeding damage which does 2-3 per wound, Poison damage which does 1-3 damage per venom injection^{(more data needed)}, choking damage which does 1-3 damage from coughing fits, and say, hypothetically some kind of reoccurring burning or freezing damage that has a 3 in it. Conspiracy???
