Putting this here so I remember it next year. I didn't quite realize until I was editing all the pages how much the last couple halloweens were explicitly divided into 3 options: Barsukov, F, and Silver. (I mean, they obviously were divided that way by the receipts but also probably divided into three possible party outcomes.)
2022:
- Barsukov: prop heart, animatronic motor, capacitor array, decorative webbing, dry ice, thick cabling
- F: plastic hide, animatronic motor, chocolate gelt, crepe paper, gold foil, plastic coins
- Silver: gruesome paint, animatronic motor, artificial bone, foam skull, foam tube, plastic chain
We got a generally ghoul themed outcome, so it looks like Silver "won" that halloween.
2023:
- Barsukov: subwoofer, animatronic motor, capacitor array, dry ice, glowing support, thick cabling
- F: apple tub, animatronic motor, chocolate gelt, crepe paper, glowing support, plastic coins
- Silver: gruesome paint, animatronic motor, artificial bone, foam skull, glowing support, plastic chain
The Death in Absentia showed the ferryman (coins = F) choice in the lead for a little while, but then switched to the train (dry ice = Barsukov) choice for the rest of the set up and we got a train themed party. Barsukov also seemed to want the dance party (subwoofers, caps and cabling). Barsukov was also seen behind the scenes, seemingly the one who planned this party with Special Project's approval.
Charles Freese was the frat leader in the 2009 party, taken to Utgard lab as a werewolf. Only because of the initial "F", I'm wondering if he's the F here? Maybe we should try to give him a chance to "win" in 2024 to see what that does and if it reveals anything more about who "F" is.
Anyway, looking at the receipt results now, it's a lot more clear to me that, for example, hanging crepe paper was supporting F, and gruesome paint was supporting Silver.
