So far things seem as expected. Helping out hipsters a few times let me get a tree from the leaderboard, and the results for turning in a snowy receipt at the mailroom seem to be the same.

Vague Christmas musings from chat:

• Queen of Ice: Drops orb of ice normally, but if you beat her with orb of ice equipped, you get scepter of ice. Unknown what happens if you beat her with scepter of ice equipped (or both). Possible techniques the queen uses associated with those items.
  • Try eating/mirror gazing her.
• Check Frigid Rulership effect with Contempt.
• Normal snow snakes mystery - we strongly suspect this is a currently available opponent (I think originally found from guessing image names and later podcast confirmation) but has not been discovered in ~10 years.

EDIT: Queen of Ice has shown up.
