I was looking at the Swarm of Tiny Snowmen's Knee Beat technique this Christmas and originally thought that it only triggers an enhanced form if you have no pants, but later also found it triggers if your pants have no melee defence.

The mascot adapter does not seem to work that way, does not give branded lash even with waterlogged shorts, which I think are the only shorts in the game. Requires having no pants at all.

A fair chunk of stuff not figured out. It's an interesting sort of… well the thing that you need to unlock is a bit more out of the box. It's the sort of thing, once you read the requirement to get the thing, it's obvious that's how that would work. Pretty sizeable new thing, one the lines of what's going on with the trick top hat. Not like a whole new zone or anything, but sizeable within the scope of a 1-coin item.

This guy is very definitely spider-themed. Zaibatsu doesn't (as far as we know) hide weird Etheric code in their stuff, but seems worth digging into a bit. Ideas to try with this equipped:

• Running ad spider
• Using spider-y Etheric techniques
• Fghting a Spider Drone (it's be weird if the code from two different corps interacted, but you never know)
  • For that matter, see if it interacts somehow with Sdnano

EDIT: Didn't notice anything special doing a bunch of hacking with ad spider installed.

Nothing for coding (made a NovOS HUD manager) or electronics crafting (dumb PDA) with it equipped.

Since the adapater is "for a beta version of the NovOS operating system that Zaibatsu helped develop" I figured it might interact with backbone control, but didn't notice anything getting 1 leaderboard point at a subrelay and I don't have any backend code or derivatives to play around with further.

Since they are different chain #s, might be worth checking if Branded Lash interacts with Vine Lash.

Nothing special obvious for using the mascot adapter's hacking tools with Crawling Adapter active.
