Can somebody please confirm that the Open Workstation is the only Noncombat Encounter that still appears, if you have killed the poet?

If by "confirm" you mean "go there ~300 times" without getting any other noncombat other than the Open Workstation, yes.

I have seen Student Conversation (the one where I can buy code/PDA chassis), but no Neglected Bookshelf … is there any other way to get the chip-making recipes?

well it work like this: if you killed the poet you just need luck, you get normal encounter until you meet him and then theres only security for that day, and then everything is reset during rollover

Cool, fishing leaderboard in the fishing game.

Mag's the current leader with a 210 pound catch.
My catch was 53 pound, with Incredible skill level.

I've got to Rook level for the chess game so far, with Well-learned skill level.
I wonder what prize,if there is, would there be for the chess game.
