EDIT: Better way is to just craft the processors. Or purchase them.
From my experiences, here is the best way to get a gold processor (apart from the super secret discovered recipe involving gold foil):
1. Use a target search (not intrusive search) until you find an antique store. Antique stores have names with "Treasures", "Memories", "Nostalgia", "Retro", "Old", etc. Antique stores found using intrusive search apparently do not give old PDAs, rather they give clothing or weapons. This step may take a while.
2. Hack into the antique store, and cross your fingers. If you gain full control from defeating just the first lock (only options are Browse public files, Browse security logs, and Unplug) you are out of luck and should go back to step 1. Keep hacking the site until you get the Reroute shipment option. Try to keep a low profile if you can, and choose to Reroute shipment a lot of times until you are locked out. The shipments you should be seeing are yellowed paper, ancient notes, actual antique watch, and of course old PDAs. If you are getting something other than these items, you may have the wrong store. Repeat steps 1 and 2 until you get an old PDA.
3. Cross your fingers (again) and salvage the old PDA. Ideally, you will get a gold processor. However, I've salvaged two old PDAs only to get 2 memory sticks, which really sucked.
