doesnt always work i just got a bad chip result and a memory from using it, damn:/

I got a memory and 1 XP the first two times I used it. Then I made the TZR chipdeck (10 duration neural recordings), and the next use got me Effiicent hacking and 2 XP.

I've used 3 now, still no luck. I didn't have any bonus duration neural recordings - perhaps it's dependent on that?

Next time I'll try it with as much bonus duration as I can scrounge.

Update: Tried again with a TZR Chipdeck and Ease, and obtained the skill. So I got the skill on my 4th try, when I had +15 duration.

So, I finally got around to resetting and had to get some skills back, so I figured why not use two of these at once? Got this:

You slot the hackers' memory cores and wait for the emotions to start rolling in.

You've learned a new Skill: Efficient Hacking

A flood of memories washes over you. You remember hacking dozens of systems, leaving nothing but viruses and destruction in your wake. You think you can be far more efficient in net combat by applying those techniques.

You've earned 1 XP in Perception

You've earned 1 XP in Reflexes

You've earned 1 XP in Strength

You've earned 3 XP in Will

Has anybody else received XP aside from Will? Also, I had no neural link active.

I used about four of these with no luck. Then I used a Juryrigged Link, and got it first try.

Got the skill on my first try with a Chip Junkie Sidearm (Neural Link 10).
