I assume you can get the XP result and the data result at the same time if you multi-use them, but thought I should double check.

So, tell me if you've tried it, whether or not it worked.

So far:
multi used 2, got 2 XP (three times)
multi used 2, got 2 data items (once)

huh, the message about finding patterns in the memory is damned interesting. Guess I should start harveting souls memories.

I used a bunch of hound memories, looking for the special message. No message yet. My results for the record:

Tried it with eclipse this time.
First try: automation routine.
Second try: math subroutine plus:

There's a few strange patterns in the code you can't quite explain. It's like a subtle signature. You've seen it across dozens of drones, but it jumps out at you now. You feel as though some great secret is hidden in those little quirks, but can't put your finger on it.

It took 63 hound drone memories before the pattern jumped out at me.

It took me 62 memories, mostly helidrone memory with with some hound and spider mixed in, to see the pattern.

Did you check to confirm if having seen the memories, but not enough to recognize the pattern is the trigger for the "The patterns look familiar somehow, but you can't quite place them" from the mysterious ash?

Took me 61 (of which the first 50 were multiused), all today, all hound drone, no OJ recently.

I used 60 and got 14 filtering scripts, 18 networking functions, and 12 versions of spectrum transmission functions, but 0 command scripts. I used them before learning about the mysterious drone signature and don't have the Handscripting skill, if that means anything.

Also got 8 XP in Perception and 8 XP in Reflexes.

Following up on GoldS's observation above:

• using 14 gave: 6 filtering scripts, networking functions, 4 spectrum transmission functions.
• using 24 gave: 3 filtering scripts, 4 networking functions, 13 spectrum transmission functions.
• using 10 gave: 1 filtering scripts, 5 networking functions, 4 spectrum transmission functions.

Then got drone signature.

• using 10 more gave: 5 filtering scripts, 0 networking functions, 5 spectrum transmission functions. (non-etheric)
• using 10 more gave: 3 filtering scripts, 2 networking functions, 3 spectrum transmission functions. (etheric, tob, myers sampler)
• using 10 more gave: 4 filtering scripts, 3 networking functions, 1 spectrum transmission functions, 1 release the hounds. (etheric, tob, no sampler)

I'm going to remove Command Script from the main page (please revert if anyone finds it).

Interesting, I got the "can't quite put your finger on it" message with tome of binding AND myers sampler equipped, but got "captured hound essence" with just tome of binding. This is odd, but consistent with binding Twisted Hounds directly (does not work with Myers sampler equipped). EDIT: If Borrowing Drone Memory is correct, you need at least one copy of Release the Hounds in order to get more copies here. Makes sense.
