Don't remember where I was keeping track of my failed efforts to get this thing, but here's another unsurprising thing to add to the list of things that don't help: increasing my code finesse to 24 brought no significant change (i.e. I was a few pounds short of my previous best).

Except now I'm getting around 60 lb catches with it instead of ~130, and I have no idea what changed. Fishing buffs?
