So thanks to thunderbird talking about that adventure, I figured I'd quit being a poseur and actually pose as a hunter. It worked. I'm gonna check the suit elsewhere, too.
midgard security outfit doesn't change anything I can see in the warehouse – guards still notice you're unregistered (with their scanners), "ask for papers" and "stop and chat" are still unsuccessful.
In the beginning, men were mortal.
The ripped/cracked containment parts do not count for the outfit bonus. The (normal) containment and heavy containment do count.
Tried to eke something out of the infested containment suit parts. Wore those, a tome of binding and an optical needler, while using Graveshot/Short Burst/Bullet for Ginn after Stream of Needles to attempt to replicate the Infested Slags Guard's Single Needle Technique. No results.
Also, using Call to Feast with this outfit, the only chain 8 etheric attack I could think of, did not replicate the NPC Animal Snarl technique.

Comfy jeans count as work pants, for those who balk at killing extra construction workers.
(Tried all the other pants I own and those seem to be the only two)
reactive vest work for the construction worker disguise, too. Didn't try anything else (other vests probably work).
I am not sure this is true. I tried both the reactive vest and the shark hide vest and eventually got jumped by the 2 MidSec and the slags guard. It took a while, though. I don't know if partial disguises help a little, or if that's just not a very frequent encounter even if you're blatantly not supposed to be there.
I can confirm the battered hammer and electrical kit count towards the outfit, and you only need three parts for it to count. Reactive vest doesn't count, but perhaps you had an electrical kit or something else equipped? (Testing by trying to enter the dorms is easiest since it doesn't cost any energy unless you succeed.)
EDIT: Midgard cap too.
Killing the drone statue and memorial statue with the midguard outfit did nothing special.

Vile camouflage and Dripping with Gore appear to nullify the office worker disguise.
