Investigating the "September 6th, 2016 - Made some tweaks to techniques that improve following specific others." update. No obvious changes that I've found so far, though I haven't tested the exact power levels. Tried:

Channel the Deep -> Distant Claw
Crescent Moon Tide -> Hunting Dash

EDIT: and an oddity from Moodlight Blinding / Emotional Grip. I can't say for sure but I expecting a "You use the ghoul's blindness to maneuver" message in the second pass but maybe we don't understand how that works.

A flare of light from your glove momentarily blinds the ghoul.
The ghoul latches onto you and tears a chunk out of you with its teeth, dealing 1 melee damage.

You grab at the ghoul with your gloved hand for 5 stealth damage.
The ghoul digs into you with its claws and finds enough purchase to tear you apart for 1 melee damage.

This may have been in response to a bug report I made. I used steel rocket against a sailor spectral's parry (resulting in completely negating steel rocket, as expected), but finding out that the pass afterwards, the specter used the "reaches out and cut you" version of Swordplay rather than the "riposte" variant. AFAIK, it's still like that. So… try techniques that change other technique messages?

Okay that was fixed. Specter now properly ripostes after my steel rocket.

The change he made made it so that parry -> swordplay didn't work but when I poked him about that he changed his mind about that specific instance and made it so that it worked again with the new system.
