Has anyone ever got credits from that option?
I have ruled out:
If your stats are too low? 71 (81), 70 (66), 76 (77), 73 (76) - probably not
If you haven't retrieved the strange ore? I've done that. I also have the Third Eye Technique skill
If you aren't in (complete?) control of the area in gang warfare? My gang was in complete control when I tried.
Wearing a Third Eye Shirt doesn't help either.

Today was the first time I DIDN'T get credits, my last major post-run existence always got credits from that dude.

Perhaps you need to have finished the Problems on the Docks quest for Hawk? I did not get the reward from him this time through, as I had already done it (I believe).

So, wearing the Third Eye Hunter disguise I got this to appear despite never even having spoken to Hawk, and with some different options. Somebody who is actually a member of the Third Eye should probably check it out to see if there's any differences under those circumstances.

Yeah, I complained about it not working earlier, since I figured he didn't know the roster of the gang. And now it does. Woo.

I tried this after doing the Problems on the Docks quest, but not for Hawk. (And having supplied the Third Eye with Eclipse.) I got a fight, not credits.
