I was almost going to submit this as a bug report, but it's almost certainly wishful thinking. But, for the record, I've only gotten one piece of sushi when crafting with the massive tentacle. Based on analogy with the giant pike, I was sorta expecting to maybe get several piece. I'm sure the reason I haven't is game balance. I can't use extra turns right now so I haven't tried to eat any of the new sushi yet, but I'm sure it's pretty good. Still, you can't blame a guy for asking, right?

I actually thought about that, but you're cutting out the better parts from the (rubbery, inedible) junk that makes up the majority of the tentacle.

And, yes, it can be pretty amazing.
