Well, I've just determined that it's possible to get the adventure that gives this more than once per day, as I got it again not long after my first 50 energy wore off. Still haven't found anything for adventuring while under the effects of it, though.

No visible effect for eating a tiny candy cane, chocolate gelt, sugar pill or processed sugar under this effect.
Had you actually talked to the administrator personally and gotten that dialog option, or did you just read about it on the wiki? It probably won't work unless your character has been told about it. C.f. salvaging drone memories.
The hassle-free executive won't talk about the carols unless you've actually got the effect active when you talk to him. (Rough thing to find out for a once/day encounter…) Has anybody hit the Dreaming of a White Christmas encounter with this effect active? Maybe it gives an option to talk to them about the carols that would let you infect the computer lab?
Llamaman, it is now. I just managed to infect the computers, and I had to get out of there, since the only option was "Back to the streets"
Heh Kinak tends to implement many of our crazed ideas:)
A moot point now that the effect passed, but you had to get the rhythm game with the effect active, at which point it spread out into the entire lab, and all computers started playing the carols, making the character get the hell outta there.
Actually you can still get the effect from the infected sites now so ill try to reproduce the efects
