"Inspect the circle" with nothing planted and Ocean Sight active:

(basic shrooms: edible mushroom, large mushroom, red toadstool, warty toadstool)

1st time: 5 basic shrooms
2nd & 3rd: 3 basic, 1 destroying angel
4th: 3 basic, 1 black spores
5th: 3 basic, 1 destroying angel
6th: 4 basic, 1 angel
7th & 8th: 3 basic, 1 angel
9th: 4 basic
10: 4 basic, 1 black spores
11th: 3 basic, 1 angel
12: 4 basic
13: 3 basic, 1 angel
14: 4 basic, 1 black spores
15 & 16th: 3 basic, 1 black spores
17th: 4 basic, 1 angel

It looks like it's pretty much just chance, probably with a unique result the first time per day (5 basic mushrooms). Ah well.

For planting shining spores 3 times i got:

You found: 4 red toadstools

You found: 2 large mushrooms

You found: 2 bitter toadstools

You found: 3 heavy puffballs

You found: crawling slime mold

After Planting sparkling spores 4 times i got:

You found: 4 large mushrooms

You found: 5 red toadstools

You found: edible mushroom

You found: 4 bunches of grave mushrooms

You found: 3 bitter toadstools

You found: heavy puffball

You found: 2 handfuls of bone flakes

Tomorrow ill get a load of mushrooms.

Fae sight enables shaman staff from inspecting the circle, which ocean sight does not (although I would argue that destroying angel is better, so even in mushroom encounters ocean sight is better).

I got some shaman staff even though I have Ocean Eyes, so I'm not sure this is true. Is it really impossible to get destroying angel if you have Fae Eyes?

I've only tried a couple times, I was just going of what was written down already. I'll make sure to pay attention in the future. Also, it should be checked if normal etheric results in better drops and a different message (and muffled sight to I suppose, or anything else that might effect that).

Ah, sorry, I think I was confused. I was thinking of Mushroom Picking. I will have to try inspecting the circle without planting anything to see about the shaman staff.
